
Our Mission is to stop child abuse from occurring in St. Joseph County.
PCASJC is made up of business professionals, social service workers, volunteers, educators, foster parents and parents coming together to end child abuse in St. Joseph County. In partnership with local leaders and businesses, we unite to demonstrate how our community treasures children.
Established in 1993, Prevent Child Abuse of St. Joseph County as a Charter member of Prevent Child Abuse Indiana:

Conducts its own public awareness and media campaigns

Works with other groups, agencies, and governmental bodies to further the cause of child abuse prevention.

Support parents and caregivers before there is a crisis.

Provide primary prevention activities and programs for all parents regardless of ethnic, cultural, racial or economic backgrounds because they understand that child abuse and neglect happens in all segments of our communities.

Invest in prevention because they understand that their investment will ultimately reduce juvenile delinquency rates, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence and crime.

Understand that prevention requires leadership and involvement from all sectors of the community including civic, business, education, clergy, health and human services.
